The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has awarded Cognitec a new contract

Cognitec Systems, the leading provider of face recognition technology and systems, announced an important purchase order from the Australian Government. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has awarded Cognitec a new contract for face recognition software to be used within the passport issuance process. DFAT is using Cognitec’s face recognition technology to reduce fraud in the process of applying for a new passport or renewing an existing one.
