Cognitec Presenting at Biometric Consortium Conference and Technology Expo
Dresden/Tampa, September 19, 2008. Cognitec Systems GmbH, a leader in face recognition technology and systems, will be presenting its latest line of products at the Biometric Consortium Conference and Technology Expo to be held in Tampa, FL from September 23-25, 2008.
Major areas of Cognitec’s presentation will include:
- Face recognition technology update: recently developed new products using the FaceVACS® platform demonstrate Cognitec’s continued leadership in performance.
- A new version of the Cognitec surveillance software: system used to support person identification through video surveillance cameras uses multiple cameras to identify persons in real time, based on Cognitec’s unique face tracker technology.
- Face recognition on a handheld device: Cognitec’s 1:1 and 1:many facial comparison technology is now available on mobile units enabling users to identify persons independent of network connection.
- ICAO/ISO photo quality check: the latest version of Cognitec's software tool allows automated capturing and quality control for ID document photos, following the ISO 19794-5 standard for travel documents.
