Cognitec Presenting at Security Document World
Cognitec’s presentation includes:
• A new version of the Cognitec surveillance software: System used to support person identification through video surveillance cameras uses multiple cameras to identify persons in real time, based on Cognitec’s unique face tracker technology.
• Face recognition on a handheld device: Cognitec 1:1 and 1:many facial comparison technologies are now available on mobile units enabling users to identify persons independent of network connection.
• Image capturing and quality assessment based on ISO criteria for ePassport images: Cognitec’s solution features real-time feedback to persons being photographed as well as advanced camera control which ensures the capturing of optimal images. Existing images can be checked as well to make sure that only ISO compliant images will be accepted for document issuance.
