Cognitec Announces New Face Recognition Products
Dresden/Miami, April 24, 2009. Cognitec Systems today announced the successful deployment of its recognition algorithm, known as B4T8, through the release of updates to its world-leading face recognition products. Cognitec's B4T8 algorithm exhibits considerably enhanced biometric performance over the previous biometric search engine. This new face recognition algorithm validates the Company's strategic aim to further enhance the already robust operational performance of its existing systems through measured and focused R&D efforts. This new algorithm release also marks the second major performance boost of the Company's technology subsequent to the Face Recognition Vendor Test 2006 - which test rated Cognitec's technology as portraying outstanding performance.
