Use of Cognitec Face Recognition Software Leads to Arrest in Robbery Case

Cognitec’s technology recently assisted in correctly indentifying a suspect involved in three armed robberies in Lancaster, California. Investigators at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department used our face recognition software to compare an image from video surveillance footage to booking photos in the agency’s database. Police later confirmed that the suspect was involved in two other robberies and carried out his arrest.
