Open Position for Senior Technical Consultant
Role: Senior Technical Consultant
Reports to Director Customer Service
Location: Boston, MA, USA
The Senior Technical Consultant will be the senior technical and solution expert for client engagements - responsible for the design and the sizing of face recognition systems architectures and the design, scope, and delivery of professional services to clients. The Senior Technical Consultant’s primary responsibility will be to serve as senior level sales support specialist, and provide presales support to Sales Executives and the generation of architectures, proposals, and assist with responding to solicitations and projects. The Senior Technical Consultant must have a complete understanding of the client’s technical requirements in order to develop a successful solution and must have the ability to handle test installations and prepare and conduct training sessions. Furthermore he/she will organize and participate in events and trade shows and provide constructive feedback to Product Management and Software Development.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
· Analyze customer requirements and develop proposals of technical solutions
using Cognitec's products
· Support the sales process by providing technical support to Cognitec’s sales
team
· Support customers with the design, sizing, implementation and operation of
Cognitec's products
· Design and conduct product training sessions for customers and partner as
as for the sales team
· Support Cognitec’s marketing and sales team in trade shows and customer
presentations
· Provide customer's feedback to Product Management and Software
Development
· Respond to customer's technical inquiries by email and phone

· Superior presentation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Strong collaboration and project management skills
· Outstanding organization skills, time management and multi-tasking skills -
must be able to manage multiple, simultaneous commitments
· Willingness to extensive travel worldwide
· A college degree in IT or similar in-depth knowledge and working experience
· Experience with computer hardware and administration of operating systems
(Windows XP/Vista, Linux)
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Experience in image processing and familiarity with camera and video
equipment are a plus
